Privacy Policy & Data Security
Last Updated: October 2026
1. Files you work on stay on your device
The image, PDF and document tools run in your web browser. The files you open in them are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. This includes:
- Image tools (converting, compressing, resizing, cropping, EXIF removal, face blur, background removal)
- PDF tools (merging, splitting, compressing, organizing, signing, watermarks, OCR, passwords)
- Generators (certificates, ID cards, passport photos, invoices, resumes, QR codes, barcodes, passwords)
Some tools download what they need to work the first time you use them: the background remover downloads an AI model (from Hugging Face), OCR downloads language data, and some tools load code libraries from public CDNs such as unpkg. These are downloads to your browser; your files are not sent with them.
2. What we store, and why
- Short links: when you use the URL shortener, we store the long link, the short code, any options you set (such as an expiry or campaign tags), and a count of clicks with the time of the last click, so the short link works and you can see how it is doing. We do not record who clicked.
- Wedding invitations: when you publish a shareable invitation, we store its details and photos so your guests can open it. RSVPs and wishes your guests send are stored with it so you can read them.
- Digital menus: when you publish a QR menu, we store its text and photos so customers can open it from the QR code. Customers' orders are not stored by us: they go from the customer's WhatsApp to yours. Reports about a menu are stored so we can review them.
- Accounts: you need an account only to publish a QR menu; every other tool works without one. If you choose to sign in, we store your email address so you can get back to your short links and invitations.
- Messages: if you use the contact form or the feedback form, we store what you send and the email address you give, to reply and to improve the site.
- Visit counts: we count how many times each tool is opened. The count holds only the tool's address and a number, with no visitor ID or IP address.
This information is stored with our database provider, Supabase. We do not sell it.
3. Analytics, cookies and local storage
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they use and which browsers and devices they have. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your IP address and browser; see Google's privacy policy for how it handles this.
Some tools save your settings or work in your browser's local storage (for example, invoice details so they are ready next time, or which tools you open most). This stays on your device; you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data. We also remember your answer to the cookie banner in local storage.
4. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as links to our developer's website). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
5. No account needed
You do not need a credit card for anything on BulkWizards, and you need an account only to publish a QR menu.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new tools or make changes to our platform. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
7. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at [email protected].
